I am a mathematician who has recently transitioned from the academical world to the industry. Currently I work as a data scientist at Elisa Corporation.
I received my PhD in 2017 from the University of Helsinki and Universidade Federal do Ceará (double degree agreement) and before starting at Elisa, I worked as a postdoc in Helsinki, Granada and Jyväskylä.
My mathematical research interests are in the fields of geometric analysis, differential geometry and PDE’s. I am especially interested in surfaces with prescribed mean curvature; including minimal surfaces, killing graphs and translating solitons of the mean curvature flow.
Besides mathematics and science, I enjoy cycling, cross-country skiing and triathlon.
